SV2 is the next major software release of the SelectVoice comms platform. Every existing T3, T4, T5, DECT and WiFi handset you already own keeps working - and the new T7 and T8 desk phone ranges unlock features that are only available on SV2.
The headline: nothing gets left behind
If you are running T3, T4 or T5 handsets today, you do not need to replace anything to move to SV2. The new platform keeps full compatibility with the deployed fleet so you can upgrade the platform first and refresh hardware on your own schedule.
T4 and T5 are end of life
T4 and T5 ranges still work on SV2 but Yealink no longer ship new units. Plan replacements with T7 (mainstream) or T8 (executive / reception) over the next 18-24 months.
